Digital Literacy & Basic Computer Training
By Maharani Lakshmibai Foundation
In Today’s Fast-paced Digital World, Access To Technology Is No Longer A Luxury—it's A Necessity. Yet, Millions In Rural India Remain Digitally Disconnected. Recognising this Gap, The Maharani Lakshmibai Foundation (MLBF), Jhansi, Has Launched A Powerful Initiative To Promote Digital Literacy & Basic Computer Training For Underserved Communities, Especially Women And Youth.
The Program Focuses On Introducing Participants To Essential Digital Skills, Including Basic Computer Operations, Internet Usage, Email Communication, And Digital Safety. Sessions Are Conducted In Local Languages, Ensuring Accessibility And Relatability For Every Learner. The Goal Is To Make Technology A Tool Of Empowerment Rather Than Intimidation.
One Of The Program’s Standout Features Is Its Community-first Approach. Local Women Are Trained To Become Digital Instructors, Creating A Ripple Effect Of Knowledge-sharing. For Many Participants, This Is Their First Interaction With A Computer—an Eye-opening And Life-changing Experience. As A Result, Women Are Gaining The Confidence To Apply For Online Jobs, Access Government Schemes, And Help Their Children With Online Education.
The Maharani Lakshmibai Foundation Believes That True Empowerment Begins With Access To Knowledge. By Equipping Individuals With Basic Digital Skills, Mlbf Is Not Just Teaching How To Use Technology But Enabling People To Use It As A Bridge To Better Opportunities.
With Over 500 Beneficiaries Already Trained And Multiple Centers Planned Across Bundelkhand, The Impact Is Both Measurable And Inspiring. Through This Initiative, the Foundation honours the Spirit Of Rani Lakshmibai—courageous, Forward-thinking, And Committed To Uplifting Others.
